About the project
InstaVet is a veterinarian company website that is built on WordPress CMS. It includes a large variety of features like location pages, veterinarian info, company services, partners, input forms, etc.
What I did
My responsibilities included converting the design files into working web pages and integrating them with a backend office that allowed for easy content updates and maintenance.

A page builder on top of WordPress
Apart from some advanced UI elements, the biggest challenge for this project was backend office integration that allows for reusable data components. The website includes a large number of pages with lots of reused UI components and data categorization. Plain WordPress was just not enough for this. Using a plugin called Advanced Custom Fields allowed me to develop a visual page builder that utilized custom UI components. The page builder made creation and maintenance of site pages a matter of a few clicks and drags. All of the repeating data was separated into its own post sections (veterinarians, team members, locations), which, when updated, were reflected in all UI components spread across multiple pages.
